OFM, the sound of central South Africa, is once again a bronze sponsor of the Pendoring Advertising Awards.
According to Nick Efstathiou, OFM’s general manager, the radio station is excited to be a sponsor of the awards as visible proof of its support for Afrikaans.
“The Pendoring Advertising Awards, which turn 20 this year, have been the most sought after advertising awards in South Africa. It is a privilege for us to support South African advertising, particularly Afrikaans advertising. OFM has a very large Afrikaans audience, who are very important to us. We hope that our partnership with the Pendoring Awards will contribute to the development of Afrikaans,” says Efstathiou.
Apart from being a bronze sponsor, OFM will also reward the client of the gold winner in the radio category with free commercial airtime to the value of R75 000, provided the winning commercial was flighted on OFM. Should there be more than one gold winner, each winner will receive commercial airtime to the value of R50 000 from OFM provided the winning commercials were flighted on OFM.
